Starved Rock State Park Reopens!

We're pleased to announce that many of Starved Rock State Park's trails have re-opened this week! Effective today, many of the trails that were closed due to extensive damage from the Aug. 10th derecho storm have been re-opened to the public! While some additional trails at Starved Rock, and all of the trails at nearby Matthiessen State Park, remain closed, there are now more than 18 canyons and scenic overlooks that you can explore. So, plan a pre-Labor Day getaway this weekend to hike at the park and enjoy nearby restaurants and attractions. Below, you'll find a list of the currently opens canyons and overlooks.
