Though the COVID-19 crisis may have temporarily postponed the planned benefit launch of "For The Love Of Starved Rock", a new fundraiser aiming to provide resources for trail restorations and other infrastructure projects around the park, doesn't mean the fundraising has to stop! Ottawa's-own Tangled Roots has found a way to help out this effort, by brewing a new signature pale ale in honor of the program. This Thursday, July 23rd, Tangled Roots will be releasing their Path Mender Pale Ale for the first time in bottles, and $1 of every sale will benefit the fundraising effort! This pale ale, which was perviously only available in pints from the taproom or in a crowler to-go, is already gaining a cavalcade of supporters on UnTappd. With an excellent average score of 3.83, and many positive mentions of it's herbal/floral/citurus-y notes, make this west-coast style pale an excellent Summer beer.
