La Salle-Peru's Hartman, Princeton's Foes, Dwight's Kapper selected for Shrine Game

A trio of players from Starved Rock Country were selected to play in the 2021 Illinois Shrine Game, an all-star football game for recently graduated seniors which benefits the Shriners Hospitals for Children.

On the lines, both Princeton's Grant Foes (6-3, 275) and Dwight's Andrew Kapper (6-1, 270) were selected to participate. La Salle-Peru quarterback/linebacker Tyler Hartman (6-2, 215) was also chosen and listed on the roster as an inside linebacker.

All three are on the Red Team's roster.

The 2021 Illinois Shrine Game is scheduled to take place June 19, 2021, at Illinois Wesleyan University's Tucci Stadium in Bloomington.

Players from 115 schools whose coaches nominated seniors are scheduled to participate.

Shriners Hospitals for Children provide specialized care to children with orthopaedic conditions, burns, spinal cord injuries and cleft lip and palate.
