MORRIS — The Grundy County Coroner’s Office is investigating a single-motor-vehicle crash that claimed the life of a Galesburg man Sunday, according to a press release by Grundy County Coroner John Callahan.
The crash was discovered on Sunday, Dec. 13, shortly after 7:00 a.m. in the area of West Bluff Road and West Route 6, near Seneca. The driver was transported to Morris Hospital for his injuries by Seneca EMS.
Clarence A. Collier, 35 was pronounced deceased in the Emergency Department shortly after 8 a.m. on Dec. 13.
Preliminary investigation shows the decedent was traveling on W. Route 6, when, for an unknown reason, lost control of his vehicle.
The death remains under investigation by Callahan’s office, the Seneca Police Department and Grundy County Sheriff’s Office.
