Smart, loving dog Vinny ready for new leash on life

Vinny says, “My dad, my buddy, my best friend was deployed at short notice, so I came back to Save-A-Pet and I’ve been here awhile. I’m really smart and I love to play and run around. I can get a little uncomfortable with new people, but with proper introduction, I end up being just a love bug. I am definitely known as a lap dog, and people often take pictures of me stretched on someone’s lap. After all, look at my cute nose, perfect for selfies!”

Vinny is about 8 years old, neutered, up-to-date on shots (including rabies), tested positive for heartworm and on preventive and microchipped.

His adoption fee is waived this month as part of the “New Leash on Life” promotion. The adoption fee is waived for all cats and dogs that have been at the shelter a year or longer. Regular adoption procedures apply, and the $12 rabies tag and registration fee will be charged for all Lake County residents.
