As a gift to lovers of live performance, the Elgin Symphony Orchestra presents a one-of-a kind collaboration between three disciplines: classical music, spoken word poetry and visual art.
The unique program features visual art by muralist Melina Scotte, original spoken word and page poetry by Elgin’s esteemed Poet Laureate Chasity Gunn, and a string quartet made up of ESO string principals Isabella Lippi (violin), Eleanor Bartsch (violin), Amanda Grimm (viola) and Matt Agnew (cello).
It is available to watch through Dec. 15 at elginsymphony.org/concert/quartet-at-the-cafe-streaming.
The Elgin Symphony Orchestra is thankful for support during this most challenging season, a news release stated. Donations are welcomed at tinyurl.com/y68fpx2w.
