Yorkville Christian High School hosted a middle school “Step Up” Day Nov. 12. Fifteen students from eight different middle schools participated in the event. The visitors were greeted by Yorkville Christian High School Student Council members for a number of mixer games. After the games, Step-Up students received a tour of the building and attended a math and a science class. In the math class, students learned all about 3.14 Pi and enjoyed some pie as a treat. In the science class, students participated in a lab about density. The Step-Up students attended chapel, and then were treated to a Sports Performance class by Dr. Schutt. The final event of the day was a wonderful catered lunch. Pictured in the photo are the Step Up Day students after completing a Pi lesson in math class.
