The woodlands provide crucial sustenance for local wildlife, just before the harsh winter hits. At this all-ages program, participants will go on an informative hike to examine the fruits, nuts and other food sources animals find within local forest preserves.
“Nature’s Bounty” runs from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 19, at Burnidge Forest Preserve, 38W235 Big Timber Road, Elgin.
