Traffic stop

Marlena L. Schmelter, 28, of Ohio was charged with operating an uninsured vehicle and driving with a suspended license in the 3500 block of North Main Street at 4:41 p.m. Oct. 26.

Illegal consumption of alcohol

A 12-year-old Ohio boy and a 14-year-old Princeton girl were both charged with illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor in the 300 block of North Church Street at 5:30 a.m. Nov 2.

A 14-year-old Walnut boy was charged with illegal possession of alcohol by a minor and illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor in the intersection of Homer and Crown streets at 2:35 a.m. Nov. 3.

DUI

A 14-year-old Princeton girl was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, driving without a valid license, operating a vehicle with an expired registration, illegal transportation of alcohol, criminal trespass to a vehicle and illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor in the intersection of Epperson Road and Railroad Avenue at 5:06 p.m. Nov. 3.

Judy D. Conrad, 67, of Princeton was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol in the intersection of Main Street and Elm Place at 3:08 p.m. Nov. 3.

Spring Valley Police

Domestic battery

Ronald M. Garland, 38, of Spring Valley was charged with domestic battery in the 100 block of Elm Street at 2:25 a.m. Nov. 5.

Deer accident

A vehicle driven by Mary B. Scaravilli, 55, of Bureau struck a deer in the intersection on Route 29 and Briarcliff Drive at 6 p.m. Nov. 5.

Traffic stop

Andrew F. Delafont, 21, of Spring Valley was charged with driving while license suspended on Dalzell Street near Marquette Street at 7:45 a.m. Nov. 6.

Telephone harassment

Following an investigation, Gerald T. Dempsey, 60, of Peru was charged with harassment by electronic communication in the 200 block of Northwestern Street at 7:28 a.m. Nov. 4.

Attempting to elude police

While police were attempting to conduct a traffic stop on a vehicle driven by Antonia E. Jackson, 41, of Spring Valley, the vehicle struck a house in the 300 block of Saint Paul Street at 9:46 p.m. Nov. 2. Jackson was charged with failure to give information after striking a vehicle or other property, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, speeding, attempting to elude a police officer and three charges of disobeying a stop sign.

Criminal trespass

Jason S. Treadway, 35, homeless was charged with criminal trespass to state supported property in the 400 block of West First Street at 7:41 p.m. Oct. 23.

DUI

A 16-year-old Wyanet boy was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, improper lane usage, no valid driver's license and illegal transportation/possession of alcoholic liquor in a motor vehicle; a 14-year-old Walnut girl and a 16-year-old Princeton girl were both charged with illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor and illegal transportation of alcohol by a passenger in the 17000 block of 2000 North Avenue near Princeton at 7:45 p.m. Nov. 4.

Criminal damage to property

Dalton A. Solomon, 20, of Mineral was charged with criminal damage to property over $300 in the 300 block of East First Street in Mineral at 5:23 a.m. Nov. 2.

Warrant arrests

Aumie N. Medina, 30, of Avondale, Ariz. was arrested on a warrant in Bureau County Jail at 9:47 p.m. Nov. 4 for possession of methamphetamine with intent to deliver.

Justin P. Miller, 30, of Princeton was arrested on a failure to appear warrant in Bureau County Jail at 9:51 p.m. Nov. 7.

Larry Kelly, 26, of Pontiac was arrested on a warrant for battery in Bureau County Jail at 3:28 a.m. Nov. 4.

Tammie N. Trumbla, 35, of Princeton was charged with disobeying a traffic control device on 1400 East Street near 200 North Avenue, east of Bradford, at 4:12 a.m. Nov. 2.

Aileene M. Herro, 48, of Tiskilwa was charged with speeding on Route 6 near the Interstate 180 off ramp, east of Princeton, at 7 a.m. Nov. 2.

Corriun D. Easley, 31, of Bellwood was charged with driving while license revoked/suspended in Bureau County Jail at 11:46 a.m. Nov. 2.

Hannah L. Underwood, 26, of Wyanet was charged with speeding on Kentville Road near Interstate 180, southeast of Tiskilwa, at 10:22 a.m. Nov. 3.

Failure to report accident

Matthew R. Hollis, 27, of Wyoming was charged with failure to report an accident following a single-vehicle accident in the 11000 block of Kentville Road near Buda at 8:54 a.m. Nov. 1.

Traffic accidents

A vehicle driven by David L. Bernabei, 69, of Ladd was involved in an accident in the 300 block of South Brush Avenue in Ladd at 7:09 p.m. Nov. 1

A vehicle driven by George L. Culbertson, 38, of Bureau was involved in an accident on Route 29 near Lincoln Avenue near DePue at 10:03 a.m. Nov. 7.

Deer accidents

A vehicle driven by Sharon L. Fletcher, 67, of Tiskilwa struck a deer on 1950 East Street near Tiskilwa at 6:18 p.m. Nov. 4.

A vehicle driven by David L. Agan, 52, of Peoria struck a deer on Wyanet-Walnut Road near 200 North Avenue near Bradford at 4:08 p.m. Nov. 4.

A vehicle driven by Trent J. Wingert Jr., 23, of Kent, Ill. struck a deer on Route 40 near 2500 North Avenue near Walnut at 6:08 p.m. Nov. 3.
