Fox Lake's annual Halloween Howl, which normally draws several hundred participants, will be canceled this year because of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the Fox Lake Police Department said in a news release Monday.
This event was scheduled to take place Oct. 26 at the Fox Lake police station located at 301 S. Route 59, but with state restrictions prohibiting large events, the department made the decision to cancel the event and not reschedule it at this time, according to the release.
