People took to social media Tuesday evening to share their frustration that results from Tuesday's boys golf regionals were not posted to the Illinois High School Association's website as state series results typically would be.
Some users were concerned the IHSA wasn't posting results in an effort to drive fans to iWanamaker, a phone application that allows golfers to input scores on-the-go hole by hole, which the IHSA is using for the first time this postseason.
The IHSA, however, said that isn't the case, and that a technical issue involving the app and the IHSA's website was the reason scores were not posted Tuesday night.
An IHSA official said the association expects the issue to be corrected by the time girls golf regionals conclude Wednesday.
