Huntley Fall Fest to become virtual music event with smaller in-person concerts

The Huntley Fall Fest will no longer be held at Deicke Park this year, but instead will feature performances by 10 bands at RocHaus in West Dundee that will be livestreamed on Facebook.

On the festival's 15th anniversary year, organizers decided to cancel the events planned at one of Huntley's largest parks, which in previous years have included a carnival, hay rides, a beer garden and various food tents, according to a statement.

This year, Huntley's fall celebration will be "Fall Fest LIVE from RocHaus" from Sept. 25 to 27, full of concerts livestreamed through the festival's Facebook page.

On Sept. 25, Rok Brigade will take the stage at 7:30 p.m. followed by Modern Day Romeos at 9:45 p.m. The Sept. 26 lineup includes My Metal Heart from 1 to 2:30 p.m., Serendipity from 3:15 to 4:45 p.m., Hillbilly Rockstarz from 5:30 to 7 p.m., The Lounge Puppets from 7:45 to 9:15 p.m., and 7th heaven from 10 p.m. to midnight.

Hi Infidelity will perform from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Sept. 27, followed by Pino Farina Band from 6:45 to 8:15 p.m. and Think Floyd USA from 9 to 10:30 p.m.

A limited number of people will be allowed to attend each show in person, though three bands will play for the livestream only, according to the news release. Those bands are Pino Farina Band, My Metal Heart and Think Floyd USA.

Only 45 tickets will be sold for each show and strict safety guidelines will be in place, according to the festival's Facebook page. Tickets cost $10 each with a two-ticket minimum on each order.
