Sandra Coss

Sandra S. Coss, 63, of Mendota passed away Dec. 28, 2019.

Funeral services will be at 6 p.m. Friday in Merritt Funeral Home, Mend-ota with the Rev. Kent Svend-sen officiating. Cremation rites will be accorded after the funeral, and burial will be at Holy Cross Cemetery, Mendota at a later date. Visitation will be 4-6 p.m. Friday in the funeral home.

Sandra was born June 12, 1956, in Mendota to George H. and Eileen (Wood) Phillips. She married John “Jack” Coss on Dec. 2, 1978.

She was a 1974 graduate of Mendota High School.

She is survived by her two sons, Ryan (Sarah) Coss and Clayton (Amanda) Coss, both of Mendota; two brothers, Terry Phillips and Randy (Judy) Phillips, both of Mendota; her longtime companion, Bruce Smith of Tiskilwa; and six grandchildren, Ella Coss, Collin Coss, Lila Coss, Holden Coss, Harrison Coss and Creed Coss.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband 2008.
