Jo Ann Halberg, 84, of Spring Valley died at 6:39 a.m. Dec. 28, 2019, at Manor Court of Peru.
Funeral services for Jo Ann will begin at 1 p.m. Friday in Barto Funeral Home, Spring Valley. Cremation has been accorded and burial will be at Miller Cemetery in Spring Valley at a later date.
Memorial visitation for Jo Ann will be from 11 a.m. until the time of funeral services Friday in the funeral home.
Jo Ann was born May 21, 1935, in Spring Valley to James and Mary (Kanznowski) Condie. She married Jack Halberg at the Bureau County Courthouse. Jack preceded her in death on June 4, 2010.
Jo Ann had been a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Spring Valley. She had worked at Westclox.
Survivors include three sons, Jim (Sandy) Halberg of Oglesby, Jason Halberg of Peru and Harlie Boucher of La Salle; three daughters, Lisa (Jerry) Franklin of La Salle, Cindy (Jim) Trench of Dalzell and Marla Ahmad of Spring Valley; her stepdaughter, Amanda (Leon) Werner of Belvidere; 15 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she was also preceded in death by one son, Jack.
